The BBC Press Office have today released the synopsis and confirmed the airdates for new Doctor Who animation Dreamland. Here's the synopsis and schedule for Freeview viewers, which will broadcast via BBC Red Button:EPISODE 1 - Saturday 21st November
Dry Springs, Nevada, 1958. The Doctor befriends a young waitress, Cassie, and her friend, Jimmy, at a diner. The Doctor activates an alien artifact and, after finding further signs of alien activity, the US Army intervenes and takes him and his new companions to the mysterious Area 51 in Roswell, where they find out about Operation Fallen Angel. Will Operation leader Colonel Stark succeed in making the curious trio forget what they have just seen?

Seeking refuge in the abandoned town of Solitude, Jimmy stumbles across a disconcerting discovery and the trio encounter Viperox royalty.

Dreamland can also be watched online via the official Doctor Who website, the animation will unfortunately not be available to watch for Freesat viewers. In other news: It has been confirmed that the first TV trailer for Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars is to be shown on BBC One sometime tonight around 6:00pm onwards.
