The BBC Press Office have released the synopsis on the first Doctor Who 2009 special:
Planet of the Dead
When a London bus takes a detour to an alien world, the Doctor must join forces with the extraordinary Lady Christina, in this one-off seasonal special. But the mysterious planet holds terrifying secrets, hidden in the sand. And time is running out, as the deadly Swarm gets closer.
Doctor Who: Planet of the Dead will broadcast on Saturday 11th April on BBC One and BBC HD, a time is to be confirmed.
UPDATE: The BBC have now confirmed that the episode will broadcast at 6:45pm.
