Doctor Who: Code of the Krillitanes - Cover & Info

Quick Reads have revealed the cover and synopsis of a new Doctor Who "quick-read" book:

CODE OF THE KRILLITANES - by Justin Richards
"I blame those new Brainy Crisps. Since he started eating them, he’s been too clever by half.”

Can eating a bag of crisps really make you more clever? The company that makes the crisps says so, and they seem to be right. But the Doctor is worried. Who would want to make people more brainy? And why?

With just his sonic screwdriver and a supermarket trolley full of crisps, the Doctor sets out to find the truth. The answer is scary - the Krillitanes are back on Earth, and everyone is at risk!

Last time they took over a school. This time they have hijacked the internet. Whatever they are up to, it’s big and it’s nasty. Only the Doctor can stop them - if he isn’t already too late...

Doctor Who: Code of the Krillitanes is on sale from 4th March 2010 at all good bookstores priced £1.99 per copy.

SJA: Blathereen Revealed

The Sarah Jane Adventures returns this Autumn to CBBC and thanks to Sarah Jane.tv, who attended the See Me on CBBC event Manchester, the overall design of one of the new monsters - the Blathereen - has been revealed, which you can see above.

Canon-wise, the aliens are cousins of the villainous Slitheen who appeared in the first series of the show back in 2007, but unlike their counterparts, the Blathereen are orange instead of green.

The Sarah Jane Adventures is rumoured to return on 15th October, official conformation is yet to be announced. In other news: the official Sarah Jane Adventures website has been revamped in preparation for the new series, to view it, click here.
