RADIO TIMES - PETER CAPALDI DONS COVER
The new issue of Radio Times features a Doctor Who-themed cover in anticipation of the new series, read on for further details:

As Peter Capaldi prepares to make his Doctor Who debut, Radio Times is celebrating with a special issue featuring a Who cover, an exclusive episode guide from showrunner Steven Moffat and an interview with the new Doctor himself.

But those who download the digital iPad or iPhone newsstand app from iTunes will get some bonus content - including a special animated cover featuring the new Doctor, with a nod to the title sequence that will be unveiled when the show returns on BBC One this Saturday.

Unique to the newsstand app, the animation brings together two images of Capaldi along with whirring cogs and the sound of a ticking clock. The cog and clock motifs echo elements of the new Doctor Who intro which has been given a retro makeover for the show’s return.

The digital newsstand issue also features two exclusive photo galleries from the Radio Times covershoots with Capaldi, as well as a 68-page bonus magazine looking back at the 10th anniversary of Doctor Who in 1973.

This issue of Radio Times is on sale from tomorrow at all good newsagents until 29th August priced £1.99 per copy.
