As you can tell from the image above, a new promo image for Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars has been released. The episode is to broadcast on Sunday 15th November at 7:00pm on BBC One and BBC HD.

New Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars Clip

While Russell T Davies and Elisabeth Sladen featured on BBC Breakfast this morning, a clip from the second 2009 Doctor Who special, The Waters of Mars, was shown, you can watch it above. Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars is to broadcast on Sunday 15th November at 7:00pm on BBC One and BBC HD, it has been confirmed.

PART 1 - Thursday 19th November, 4:35pm
Sarah Jane, Luke, Clyde and Rani face an old enemy, the green Slitheen, in the penultimate episode of this series of The Sarah Jane Adventures.

When the Slitheen's latest scheme is halted, their cousins, the Blathereen, arrive. Declaring peace between the planets, they offer Sarah Jane a gift - one that might change the future of the human race forever.

PART 2 - Friday 20th November, 4:35pm
When the Blathereens' gift runs riot, Sarah Jane faces the battle of her life to save her son, Luke, as The Sarah Jane Adventures concludes.

With Clyde, Rani and K9 trapped in a school under siege, and the whole of London convulsing under the alien threat, everything heads for a final showdown in the attic - and not everyone is getting out alive.

Both parts of The Gift will broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD.

Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars - Synopsis & Details

The BBC Press Office have released the synopsis and more information on the next 2009 Doctor Who special, The Waters of Mars:

Mars, 2059. Bowie Base One. Last recorded message: "Don't drink the water. Don't even touch it. Not one drop."

Starring David Tennant as the Doctor and guest starring acclaimed British stage and screen actress Lindsay Duncan, The Waters Of Mars is the second Doctor Who special to be screened this year.

Lindsay plays Adelaide - the Doctor's cleverest and most strong-minded companion. She and the Doctor face terror on the Red Planet in one of the scariest adventures yet.

Neighbours, Flying Doctors and Casualty star Peter O'Brien also guest stars as Ed, Adelaide's second-in-command at the base.

The Waters Of Mars is written by Russell T Davies and Phil Ford and is directed by Graeme Harper.

Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars is to broadcast later this year on BBC One and BBC HD, a official time and date is yet to be announced.

New K.9 Clip

Disney XD have released a clip from the new upcoming Doctor Who spin-off K.9, which you can watch it above. The episode from which the clip is from will broadcast on this Saturday (31st October) at 6:00pm on Disney XD.

SJA: The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith - New Trailer

A new trailer advertising The Sarah Jane Adventures: The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith is currently being shown on various BBC channels during show breaks, you can watch it above. The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith: Part 1 will broadcast on 29th October at 4:35pm on BBC One and BBC HD with Part 2 on the next time at the same time and place.

Next weekend, a Sarah Jane Adventures event will be taking place at Liverpool One shopping centre, featuring activites for children to do and an exclusive screening of The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith before it's TV premire, read on for further details:

Sarah Jane has met Peter Dalton and wants him to become part of her life, as the adventure series continues; perhaps he could become a father to Luke. But Clyde suspects that Peter is hiding a secret or two, especially when he and Rani find an empty house where Peter says his home should be.

The Doctor makes a spectacular return on the happiest day of Sarah Jane's life, but a deadly trap is awaiting them all.

Doctor Who: New Series 5 Logo Revealed!

The BBC have today revealed the new Doctor Who logo which will present the fifth series of the show onwards. More info on the logo can be found here from the official Doctor Who site. Series five of Doctor Who is currently being filmed and is due to start broadcasting next Spring on BBC One and BBC HD.

The Sarah Jane Adventures: New Series 3 Promo Images

The BBC have released a bunch of new promo images from the upcoming series of The Sarah Jane Adventures, which can be viewed above. Six of these images can be downloaded as wallpapers from the official Sarah Jane Adventures website here, also new on the site is a game on the homepage where you have to guess which of the three people presented is the Blathereen. SJA returns to BBC One on Thursday 15th October at 4:35pm.

UNIT is called in after a miner from the Welsh village of Llanfairfach is found dead, his skin glowing bright green. Jo joins forces with a local environmental group, led by Professor Clifford Jones, while the Doctor investigates the nearby plant of a company called Global Chemicals.
They discover that the mine workings are full of giant maggots and green slime - both lethal to touch - that have been produced by chemical waste pumped from the Global plant.

The BBC Press Office have released the synopsis for the second two-part story from the third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures titled The Mad Woman in the Attic:

PART 1 - Thursday 22nd October, 4:35pm

Rani investigates strange rumours about a demon living in a funfair at the seaside. What she finds there, however, is far more alarming than that and she makes a decision that affects not only her future, but also the futures of all those she cares about…

Far in the future, in 2059, an old Rani remembers the day when her whole life went wrong. As her younger self investigates mysterious disappearances at an abandoned funfair, she sets into motion a chain of events which unleash the terrible powers of the alien Eve.

PART 2 - Friday 23rd October, 4:35pm

Alien Eve’s powers grow out of control, with everyone caught in her sinister and endless games. As the echoes of an ancient war threaten the modern world, the danger extends all the way to the year 2059. If Rani fails to change her own destiny, then everyone is doomed.

Both parts of The Mad Woman in the Attic will broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD.
